Mara and Matt discuss Marvel’s roughest private investigators with Brian Michael Bendis’ and Michael Gaydos’ Alias. This run not only introduces us to Jessica Jones, but gives us a peek at a very different time in Marvel. While Bendis had already made a name for himself with books like Daredevil and Ultimate Spider-Man, Alias was for a lot of readers their first introduction to his noir adult roots. This series is as fun as it can be thought-provoking and challenging.
