With today’s release of Jason Aaron/Latour’s Wolverine: Japan’s Most Wanted, Marvel has already announced it’s next weekly title in the Marvel Infinity line-up, Iron Man: Fatal Frontier.

Written by current Iron Man scribe Kieron Gillen and Al Ewing and featuring art by Lan Medina, this title focuses on Stark taking on the Russians and Latverians at the same time, who both have a secret weapon up their sleeve. In an interview with Wired, Gillen explained his love of digital comics and what the format can bring to the table:

“The future of the medium likely lies in something solely built for the possibilities of this [digital format]. I can definitely see the equivalent of a next-gen comics engine in terms of what you can do with the manipulation of juxtaposed imagery, which is what comics is. So there’ll probably be an engine war, of engines that can be used to drive your comics technology, the same way they have in games.”
