Synopsis:
Our protagonist, Chloe Pierce, at rock bottom after the catastrophic trifecta of the suicide of her fiance, the presumptive miscarriage of her baby, and the subsequent forfeit of her own will to live and attempted suicide, is left with nothing to motivate her other than a desperate quest for answers. Her fiance, Peter, was driven to suicide by his sudden and obsessive involvement in the Honest World Foundation and its mysterious founder, Astrid Mueller… which gives Chloe a place to start digging.
Chloe, focused only on uncovering the truth about Astrid and her manipulative organization, vows to expose the secrets of the Foundation, its “Clean Room”, and Astrid herself. The deeper she digs, though, the stranger the secrets get.
