This episode is the one Matt looks forward to the most. Not only is it covering one of his favorite runs of his all-time favorite series, but it is the first time he gets to share that series with Mara. Will she like it? You’ll have to listen to find out, but regardless Mark Waid approaches his tenure on Fantastic Four with the same care that he shows to every legacy series he works on. The difference between this run and his others is that he was joined by Mike Weringo, who was at the top of his career, which ended far too soon. Between a fight with Dr. Doom, a confrontation with Galactus and a trip to heaven, we are excited to share with you our thoughts on this collection of Fantastic Four.
This episode covers Fantastic Four (Vol. 3) # 60-70 and (Vol. 1) # 500-524
