TV Insider is reporting that the Fox television network have confirmed that they have entered talks with Marvel over developing an ‘X-Men’ TV show.
Due to 20th Century Fox holding rights to produce ‘X-Men’ movies, they will need permission from Marvel to have the Fox network produce a series for TV. Fox Chairmen Gary Newman and Dana Walden confirmed that negotiations are underway. “It’s in negotiations” said Newman “We’re cautiously optimistic, we had a good meeting with them. That will not be on a fast track creatively. This is just the deal, now we have to find the creative.”
There is no talent attached to the show just yet as talks are ongoing and how the show will fit in with the ‘X-Men’ movie franchise is unknown.
