With Avengers vs X-Men winding down and only one issue till its sure to be exciting finale, Marvel is already planning a follow up to the series titled “Avengers vs X-Men: Consequences.” Led by Kieron Gillen (Uncanny X-Men) and a rotating group of artists, Consequences is a five issue limited series that plans on filling in some of the holes from the main series as well as answering some questions fans will no doubt have in regards to the state of the universe following the return of the Phoenix Force.
“Who will survive? Can the Avengers and X-Men ever peacefully co-exist again? And what is the fate of Cyclops?” are just a few of the questions the book is planning on answering. Alongside the already announced A+X series, which plans on teaming up different Avengers with different members of the X-Men, it seems there is still a lot more story to tell in the saga of “Avengers vs X-Men.” I know I’m personally looking forward to seeing how everything turns out, especially with Marvel Now! closer than ever before.
