Deadline are reporting that Ryan Reynolds is close to signing a deal to reprise his role as Wade Wilson for the upcoming Deadpool movie. The Tim Miller directed movie is being made by Fox, in conjunction with Marvel studios for a February 2016 release. Reynolds previous played the part of Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Reynolds also took to twitter to seemingly drop a hint that a deal may well be close:

Reynolds recently lent his voice to a CGI Deadpool for test footage that was released to the public to great acclaim, leading to renewed calls for him to play Deadpool in a solo movie.
