2016 was a pretty solid year for movies overall, and with the Academy Awards on the horizon and plenty of prestige pics still in theaters, it’s easy to forget that last year inflicted more than its share of cinematic trash on us, as well. In this mini-episode, Chris dredges up a list of the worst movies of 2016, and he, Brian, and Nick try to figure out what the hell went wrong with flicks such as Zoolander 2 and Max Steel. Along with that, we also offer up some of our own biggest disappointments from the past year in movies. What was the critics’ least favorite film of 2016? What’s the deal with CGI polar-bear movies?
