Fans of the Batman Arkham games rejoice: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced that the Dark Knight will return in the final installment of the Arkham trilogy, Batman: Arkham Knight, on June 2, 2015.
Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham Knight introduces a new Batmobile. This addition to the gameplay will allow players to race across the streets and fly through the skies of Gotham while facing the Scarecrow, who has returned to unite Batman’s enemies for a final showdown with the Caped Crusader.
The game, available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC, will be released worldwide on the same day along with two special editions, Batman: Arkham Knight Limited Edition and Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition. The Limited Edition includes a SteelBook case, a custom book featuring the concept art for the game, Limited Edition DC Comics Batman: Arkham Knight #0 Comic Book, and Batman memorial statue. The Batmobile Edition has the above features, but instead of a Batman statue includes a transformable Batmobile statue.
The special editions will be available in limited quantities on the launch date in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The Limited Edition will also be available in a PC format for Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
