What Were The Top Selling Comics of the Year?

This week Diamond Distributors released the overall sales for 2013, which included the Top 10 comics sold in 2013 as well as information on how the industry sold as a whole. In terms of industry-wide sales, we bought 10.22% more comics this year than we did last year. Marvel sold the most units with 33.50% of the dollar share while DC Comics followed close behind with 30.33%.

The top selling comics of the year, according to Diamond were:

  8. Age of Ultron #1 (Marvel)
  9. Uncanny X-Men #1 (Marvel)
  10. Superman Unchained #2 (DC)

Diamond also released details on the Top selling Graphic Novels and Trade Paperbacks of the year. Here are the results:
