Welcome to the Talking Comics’ morning show Comics and Coffee!

Two or three times a week Bobby Shortle and a Talking Comics contributor will talk about the news of the previous day, the movies and tv they are watching, what’s going on in their lives and much more!

Remember, the show is broadcast live on YouTube at 9AM EST the morning it airs so you can follow along and even participate! Each week we will be soliciting questions on Twitter, Facebook, and on the website itself so leave your questions and comments in the talk back below and thank you for listening!

Today on the show Mara and Bobby talk about Matt Fraction leaving the Fantastic Four universe, Vin Diesel as Groot, and Marvel’s Infinity!

Annnnnnnnnnd… we say it on the show, but just in case you missed it, the Talking Comics crew on Twitter are:

    1. Paul thanks for listening! Sorry we didn’t get to your questions this time around. But we will try and hit them tomorrow morning! Did you enjoy yourself?

      1. Yeah I really like the show. Been catching the two new video features these past couple of weeks but only after their recorded. I’m in the UK so its no wonder. Day off here so catching up on my comics & stuff. Finally – really enjoy the podcast its by far my favourite, been listening over a year now!

  1. Great show guys. Bobby you mentioned at the beginning that a great thing about Comics and Coffee is that you don’t have to wait a week in order to talk about a breaking story on the podcast; will the rest/some of the Talking Comics crew make an appearance if the news is big enough? If not, that’s all right, you and Mara are doing an awesome job. I’m sure I’m not alone in saying this, but the commitment to doing something like this is very much appreciated.

On a side note that scathing “review” you posted on twitter yesterday, Bobby, was simply abhorrent. It’s better not to even call attention to things like that and give that cretin the attention they are so obviously seeking.

    1. Thank you for the kind words! I don’t think we will be having other TC guests on Comics and Coffee unless its tectonic sized news….BENDIS TO DC or something like that. But never fear the other members of the gang will have their shot to talk about this kind of news of the main show still.

As far as that review I honestly posted it more because of the sheer level of ridculousness it provided. There are plenty of others that are much more insipid that I don’t because they are plain mean. I do agree it’s better to focus on the positive though which is by far the bulk of the reaction we get.
