Teen Titans Go! Gets Its First Promo

ttg

DC Animation and Cartoon Network have been planning a revamp of their DC Nation line-up with the inclusion of two brand new shows. The sad part though is that the two previously airing programs (Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice) were cancelled to make room for the two new shows. Both shows had their fans and the outcry on the internet over their cancellation has certainly been noticeable.  Whether or not this is the last we’ll see of those two shows has yet to be seen (Young Justice does have a game coming out in the fall though), but their presence will certainly be missed by many.

The two shows that will be replacing YJ and GL:TAS are Beware the Batman and Teen Titans Go! Beware the Batman is a new take on the Caped Crusader as he teams up with a ninja in Gotham City. Teen Titans Go! is a sort-of sequel to the original 2000s hit Teen Titans that focuses on the funny business that happens between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision. Straying away from the slightly more serious tone of the original series and using a more stylized animation, this version seems to invoke more of a Tiny Titans feel rather than a Teen Titans feel.

But you’ll have to be the judge of that as the first promo for the show has been released. Take a look at it below and let us know what you think in the comments below!
