All New X-Files Comic From IDW

XFiles

It was announced today over at Bleeding Cool that The X-Files would be returning (in comic form at least) this June to IDW. After the critically and commercially successful 2010 30 Days of Night/X-Files crossover miniseries by Steve Niles and Tool guitarist Adam Jones, it was only a matter of time until IDW did something else with the property.

First, they will be reprinting the also successful 1995 Topps comic series along with the 2008 Wildstorm miniseries. Once those are released, IDW will be releasing a brand new ongoing that will take place immediately after the second movie “The X-Files: I Want To Believe.”

No information as to who the creative team will be has been released yet, but I will update the article when that becomes available.
