* This list was compiled while listening to the album Francis the Mute by the band The Mars Volta. Sadly, The Mars Volta had announced yesterday evening that they have indefinitely broken up and will not be making any more music or be touring together. This breaks my heart. They are my third favorite band in all the world. I wish each of them the best in their future musical endeavors.
