Shenani-Girl currently has a little bit of time on her hands and she wants to answer some very important life questions. Whether they’re about comics, life, movies, various geekery or other things, get your questions into Shenanigans for a brand-new Dear Abby style column that’ll be up as frequently as our podcasting superhero can handle. You can send in your questions to stephaniecooke@talkingcomicbooks.com or via Shenani-Girl’s Tumblr page (all responses from Tumblr will be posted on the site).

Dear Shenani-Girl,

Archer or True Blood? Flight of the Concords or original Monkees episodes? Beer or wine? Rail or air travel? Mediation or vendetta?

-Need a little direction in life

Dear Need A Little Direction (don’t we all?),

Archer or True Blood?
Archer – God, this show is so good. It’s pretty well one of the funniest things to ever be on TV. Good friends don’t let their friends not watch Archer. True story.

Flight of the Conchords or Original Monkees episodes?
Flight of the Conchords – This may be because I’ve seen a lot more of Flight of the Conchords, but I suspect not. How can you not love FotC? It’s hilarious. Plus, nothing will put a smile on your face like listening to the songs from the show.

Beer or wine?
Wine – Had you asked me this a year ago, there’s a good chance that I would’ve said beer, but lately I’ve become a little bit of a wino and I like it. Every time I try to switch back to beer I wind up feeling crappy the next morning, so I think I’ll likely just stick with wine for a while.

Rail or air travel?
Rail – But truly, this question depends on how long the trip is and where the trip is taking place. Rail is nice for relatively short trips, but if it’s anything over 3-4 hours, I would likely prefer to take an airplane.

Mediation or vendetta?
Mediation – I’m not really one to hold a grudge for eternity. Unless some really nasty shit went down in which I’d have to change my name to Inigo Montoya, I’d rather just work stuff out.

I had been pushing my coworker to watch Archer and he finally did. He came up to me and said, “So, when does Archer get good? It’s not really funny.” I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised as Dane Cook is one of his comedy gods.

I tried to make my friends watch it and they didn’t get it either. I’m not sure I can be friends with them anymore. Friends don’t let friends not love Archer. It’s just a fact of life.

Uh oh Steph, it looks as though your friends are in the…”DAAANGER ZOONE!!”
