The series continues and more is revealed in the fourteenth issue of the ninja turtles.  Last issue, the story ended with a cliffhanger as Ralphael went to Casey’s home to deal out an ass whooping to Casey’s pop and before he could deliver some deathly blows, Master Splinter intervenes by holding a sword to the neck of Casey’s father! Did Raphael choose to go down the path of death or did Splinter talk some sense into him? You must read my comic book grasshoppers.

Next Baxter who had been knocked out and taken to Kr-ahem, I mean General Krang’s headquarters and has awaken to learn that he must help the general save his family. Baxter demands more info and Kr-I mean the general reveals to Baxter that he and his family of brain heads are-“I’m sorry the rest of this sentence has been deleted as to avoid spoilers. Please read the issue to find out more information.”

We also learn a little bit more about the Neutrinos and the demensional portal and another object makes its debut! Back over in Footville, the Shredder has made a decision as to who should be his successor and guess what? It’s not Karai. Flash to the turtles lair as Splinter tells his family that they must stop old metal mouth by any means necessary-ANY MEANS.

If you don’t know by now, I love this series. I love the mix of classic and new and so far it’s been pretty interesting. The writing continues to be great as well as the art.  This is series so far has been solid (in my humble opinion of course).

Verdict:

Buy it. It’s a great series, that I think everyone will enjoy.
