It’s Issue #36 of the Talking Comics podcast. The gang are happy to have you tuning in and the topic of the week? Well, we’ve discussed GOOD comic book movies, so for this week, it’s all about the WORST comic book movies. What makes the cut? Well, Bob has a numbered list (which will hopefully be posted) but aside from that, you’ll have to listen to find out.

As for Books of the Week, Steve discusses Planetoid, Bobby loves The Massive, Bob (shockingly) loves Fantastic Four #607 and Stephanie (who is finally back) talks about DV8: Gods and Monsters. There are also some words about Morning Glories #19 as well as some talk about Before Watchmen: Silk Spectre.

The Comic Book Podcast is brought to you by Talking Comics (, a blog dedicated to covering the latest and greatest in comic book releases. The editorial staff is composed of Editor-in-Chief Bobby Shortle (Fanboy Remix, Doctor Whocast), Stephanie Cooke (’s Digital Dorm) and Steve Seigh ( contributor) who weekly dissect the releases and give you, the consumer, a simple Roman yay or nay regarding them. Our Twitter handle is @TalkingComics and you can email us at Until next issue … to be continued!

Wow, just listened. Well, sorry to hear Stephanie’s had such problems with the book (though I wish you’d said something to me at Heroes Con!). Lots of misinformation and false assumptions made on her part, though. We didn’t NOT think the book was going to be a success–we were just surprised at the level of success. Nick and I both knew we had something special with the book, but did not anticipate the way it caught on. There is an ending in mind, whether you want to believe that or not! Sorry we’re not able to structure the book to your liking–but we have a huge cast, and with that we have lots of plots and backstories to get to with them. So we won’t always get to EVERYTHING with every character in each issue.
Sorry to see you go, Stephanie! Happy trails to you.
